Christine Morgan

Hi! My name Christine Morgan and I am the 7th-9th grade teacher. I have been working at The Shore Center for Students with Autism for 7 years. My first year I worked as a paraprofessional and I am currently on my 6th year of teaching. I am originally from Old Bridge, N.J. and graduated from Old Bridge High School. I went on to attend Rutgers University where I recieved my BA in Sociology and Psychology. I attended graduate school at Georgian Court University where I recieved my certificates for teaching.

I currently live in Point Pleasant, N.J. On my free time I enjoy numerous outdoor activities such as running, yoga, going to the beach, surfing and hiking. I also have an amazing 6 year old girl who has just entered the first grade (they grow so fast!). We love reading together, going for bike rides and eating icecream!

I believe that every child brings special qualities to our classroom. My teaching style provides a positive environment for all students to learn through individualized activities specific to student needs. In order for your child to have a fulfilling learning experience, I feel that it is extremely important that we work together. I will keep you notified of any changes in your child’s program and I encourage you to meet with me to discuss how their programs can be followed in your home.

I am truly honored that you have entrusted me with your child’s educational achievements for the next 10 months. We have accomplished so much over the past year and I am looking forward to working together to keep progressing towards our goals. Together we will learn and grow while never forgetting to have fun.
