Hello! My name is Ms. Sam!  It’s going to be another great year full of new adventures and new discoveries.  This will be my 8th year teaching at The Shore Center.  I was Teacher of the Year in 2020, and it was the best honor! I have been working with children and teenagers with special needs since 2009.  I started as a paraprofessional at Children's Center of Monmouth County for 3 years and then went to Hawkswood School, where I became a teacher there for 3 years. Coming to The Shore Center has been the best move I ever made! 

 I graduated with a B.A in Psychology from Rider University.  I went back to Rider University to receive my certificate in Elementary Education.  I knew I wanted to teach students with special needs, so I received my Teacher of Students with Disabilities Endorsement from Rutgers University!

Hobby: Photography, working out in the gym, reading, going to the beach, and traveling the world
