Hello! My name is Jessica Beckett and I am very excited about being at The Shore Center! I have been working in the field of education for about 17 years. I started my career as a paraprofessional after graduating with my undergrad in NY, obtaining a degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in English. While working, I attended Georgian Court University and graduated with my Masters in Special Education with a focus in Autism. Within my 17 years of teaching, I have worked with children in all different fields of special education, from Autism, behavioral disorders and multiply disabled. I also have experience working with families with in home behavioral therapy. 

When I am not at work I am spending time with my son Parker. I can often be found at the baseball field or basketball court. I enjoy spending time at the beach in the summer and hitting the slopes in the winter. At home, we also have a mini fur family that we enjoy spending time with. I have two Shiba Inu dogs, Hurley and Dakota and 5 cats that we rescued; Annie, Oliver, Marley, Matilda and Gizmo. 

I am very excited about this upcoming year at The Shore Center!
