Hello! My name is Jessica Beckett and I am very excited about this school year! I have been working in the field of education for about 19 years. I started my career as a paraprofessional after graduating with my undergrad in NY, obtaining a degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in English. While working, I attended Georgian Court University and graduated with my Masters in Special Education with a focus in Autism. Within my 19 years of teaching, I have worked with children in all different fields of special education, from Autism, behavioral disorders and multiply disabled. I also have experience working with families with in home behavioral therapy. 

When I am outside my classroom I am spending time with my 11-year-old son Parker. I can often be found at the baseball field or basketball court. I am a big animal lover! I have a mini fur family at home that I enjoy spending time with as well. I have two Shiba Inu dogs, Hurley and Dakota, 5 cats that I rescued; Annie, Oliver, Marley, Matilda and Gizmo and two guinea pigs that were rescued, Bella and Zoey. In my down time I enjoy going to the beach, getting my nails done and watching some of my favorite tv shows. 

I  am looking forward to having a fantastic school year!
