My name is Jaclyn Wilensky I am known here at The Shore Center as Miss Jacky. I have been working in this field for 16years. I first started working here as a paraprofessional in 2007 and became a teacher in December 2013. I am a Georgian Court University Alumni with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Education. I currently hold certifications as a teacher for grade K-6 as well as Students with Disabilities.

I love to get involved with many different activities here at school. I am one of the coordinators for the School Spirit Committee. Our committee helps raise money for various charitable organizations: Alex's Lemonade Stand, American Cancer Society, Food Pantry, ASPCA, Autism Awareness Month, and many more. I am the founder of the Breakfast Club which fosters job skills through facilitating the various roles of a bagel shop.  I am also an active member of the Sunshine Committee, School Safety and Climate Committee, and more. You can probably tell by now, school culture and climate are important to me as well as all of our students here at The Shore Center. I am grateful to have been selected as 2015-2016 Teacher of the Year at The Shore Center. 

Outside of The Shore Center, family is equally important to me. I am very proud to be the wife of a wonderful loving husband who is also a Special Education teacher. We have two children, Leo who was born in 2016 & Zoe who was born in 2018. We enjoy going to many local special events and heading up to our family's cabin in the Poconos. We have a dog named Marley who is like a child to us. She brings so much joy to our family. We recently adopted a Bearded Dragon named Domino. She is a very friendly lizard who loves relaxing in the sun. I love being part of The Shore Center, I truly believe we are the best school around!
